Covid-19 MEMO

Greetings Brothers and Sisters, Peace be upon you in the name of our Lord and Savior.
As you know, the COVID-19 Virus is upon us. We have had discussions about moving forward as a congregation to practice safety.
The safety of the congregation, a faithful witness, geared toward the possibility that members could contract the illness have all become a great area of struggle. It is readily apparent that we are facing a test of our faith.
The situation is so critical. Yet, we are trusting in the Lord’s promises that His thoughts toward us are of peace and not of evil (Jeremiah 29:11), and that He allows for a time of testing, not to destroy us, but to establish us.
Therefore, Christians are not only to suffer with the people of this city, but we have a responsibility to pray for those in this city who are fearful and to bring to them the peace of Christ.
So, the Pastor and the official staff, with much prayer, have decided to suspend services including all activities for the weeks of March 22nd and March 29th. Prayerfully, we will return to normal services on Sunday, April 5th.
During these times, we are asking the members to continue their spiritual disciplines (prayer, study of the Word, and giving). We pray that you use on-line or mail-in for your giving during this season.

Daniel Fast
The annual 21 Day Daniel Fast will begin Feb. 3 until Feb. 24.
